Hoagland Medium contains macronutrients and micronutrients for watering and nitrogen fixing plants. This medium is Nitrogen free for applications where Nitrogen would interfere with assay results, or an alternate source of Nitrogen will be supplemented. Often, Hoagland Medium is used on plants that are grown in Vermiculite.
Hoagland Medium, Nitrogen-Free is provided as a powder medium to be dissolved at 1.34 g/L in distilled water. Due to the nature of the product, efficiency cannot be guaranteed if the medium is autoclaved. Add Sucrose, Cytokines, Vitamins, and Auxins as desired.
